BYO-key

BYO-key — bring your own key — separates two contracts: the DevAware OS subscription, which pays for the governed command center, and the AI provider plan, which pays for cloud model usage. The provider bills the user directly, at the provider's rates.

This keeps cost transparent and avoids lock-in. Switching providers is a settings change, not a tool migration. DevAware OS cannot extend, bypass, or share a provider's rate limits, quotas, or content policies.
