MCP client

An MCP client speaks the Model Context Protocol — an open standard for exposing tools to AI agents — over a newline-delimited stdio transport. DevAware OS can start an MCP server, list its tools, and call them.

Project-scoped servers require an explicit trust grant before they run, and each request carries a timeout. MCP servers are user-configured and not bundled; connecting one does not make it safe, so trust is granted deliberately.
